Mill Creek Station was founded in 1999 by Roger Derryberry and his beloved wife, Mary Lou. The property was transformed entirely by hand when the couple removed more than 200 tons of rock to create a one-of-a-kind live music venue in the Eastern Sierra. Roger has lived an extraordinary life that includes Sierra Nevada first ascents, hot air balloon flights, and sports car racing. That same spirit of adventure, curiosity, and grit continues to define Mill Creek Station today. Mill Creek Station is managed by the Eastern Sierra Music Collective, which is dedicated to building music programs for Bishop youth while stewarding the venue for generations to come. All ticket proceeds support youth music education, our on-site climbing and rock museum, site maintenance, staff, and the Yosemite Climbing Conservancy. These are causes Roger devoted his life to and cared deeply about, grounded in a shared commitment to preservation, education, and community for future generations.
